Just who is behind 212 City? 212 is the brainchild of three longtime friends with a passion for New York. Dave Rottino, Daniel Robinson, and James Williams. The idea started in summer of 2007. With a handful of bum lounges we visited, we were complaining about not having a website that had places to go. What to do, when to do it, news, reviews, guides, interviews. Your one stop shop for everything New York. Something that encompasses the soul of the city.

212 City grew out of that small, singular idea into something bigger and better than we ever imagined. Hell, we have a powerpoint presentation chronicling our start to present, quite a show. We have always kept this one thing in mind when working on 212 City, if it's something New York, 212 will cover it.
