In a city this crowded and metropolitan we're all bound to feel lonely or insignificant to some degree, and temptation is around every corner. With that thought in mind, it's easy to make mistakes in love and lust, and I'm here to explore that possibility and exploit those stories. For me it's as simple as being a 28 year old unmarried woman living in Manhattan. Sure I have a boyfriend, but does that stop me from forgetting my life as a single woman? I don't think so. I've looked for love in all the wrong places, same as anyone else. I've booty called or booty texted at 3am, in hopes that I wouldn’t have to use the ever popular "sorry, I was drunk" excuse the next morning. I've flirted with the guy in the club that thinks he's something special, and regretted it all the way to his family party in Jersey. Yet I've gotten out of those embarrassing situations relatively unscathed and have maintained my sense of humor enough to hopefully entertain people with my experiences.

Still, I'm not one of those men hating girls, with a bag full of tales about how "he" did me wrong and a head full of men are from mars opinions. I believe that the two sexes aren’t that different, well at least not in New York City. Whether you're single, have a significant other, married or divorced, don't we all really want one thing? To have someone who cares about us, without being too up in our business. Someone to fulfill our physical needs, when we ask them too. A person that knows when they are wanted, and knows when to get the hell out of our face. To some, the ideal person might be in the form of a one night stand and to others maybe it's the idea of a soul mate to share their life with. Either way, I've been there or have heard of that before.

What I’m trying to put out there is more of a laid back approach to finding someone, using common sense and what yo’ momma gave you. There are certain unsaid rules in the dating world, and I’m not talking about how you should wait two days after meeting someone to call them back. I’m talking about not texting a man to death, harassing him about when is the next time you’ll see each other again. Men can smell desperation a mile away. Or not asking a woman to come over and watch a movie on the first date. Take her out to eat, cheap ass! You know, the little things that can mean the difference between sitting at home alone watching The Wedding Singer AGAIN, or getting your foot in the door with that hot piece you’ve been eyeing during your elevator ride into the office.

All that said, let’s get into it. Welcome to the new Kiss and Tell…hope you enjoy!
